THE SERMONISER OF THE GITA – an invitation to know

37) Gita Chapter No. 08, shloka No. 09 says-

kavim puranam anusasitaram
anor aniyamsam anusmared yah
sarvasya dhataram acintya-rupam
aditya-varnam tamasah parastat


a)In one website I found the following:-

Word for word:

kavim — the one who knows everything; puranam — the oldest; anusasitaram — the controller; anoh — than the atom; aniyamsam — smaller; anusmaret — always thinks of; yah — one who; sarvasya — of everything; dhataram — the maintainer; acintya — inconceivable; rupam — whose form; aditya-varnam — luminous like the sun; tamasah — to darkness; parastat — transcendental.

Translation by His Divine Grace A. C. Bhaktivedanta Swami Srila Prabhupada:

"One should meditate upon the Supreme Person as the one who knows everything, as He who is the oldest, who is the controller, who is smaller than the smallest, who is the maintainer of everything, who is beyond all material conception, who is inconceivable, and who is always a person. He is luminous like the sun, and He is transcendental, beyond this material nature."


b) In another website- http://www.bhagavad-gita.org/Gita/verse-08-09.html - almost same is written.


c)In the following website, the word "smaller than an atom(molecule)" is omitted while translation, an important error.

It says

"Dear Arjuna, one who is constantly fixed in meditation upon God, who is the omniscient (everywhere), omnipotent (ever-powerful), infinite (never-ending) ruler over all being, preserver of everybody, whose form cannot be conceived readily by any being, who is as brilliant as the Sun, and who is beyond the darkness of ignorance.

जो पुरुष सर्वज्ञ, अनादि, सबके नियन्ता*, सूक्ष्म से भी अति सूक्ष्म, सबके धारण-पोषण करने वाले, अचिन्त्य स्वरूप, सूर्य के सदृश नित्य चेतन प्रकाश रूप और अविद्या से परे, शुद्भ सच्चिदानन्दधन परमेश्वर का स्मरण करता है ।। ९ ।।"

The Hindi translation is Ok. "सूक्ष्म से भी अति सूक्ष्म," means smaller than the smallest.

38) Murli Point÷ Due to insertion of name Krishna in Gita, Bharat became irreligious, sinful and insolvent÷

Mu point- "Gita may Krishna kaa naam daalney see Bharat dharm-bhrashth, karm-bhrashth, insolvent ban gayaa = Due to insertion of name Krishna in Geeta Bharat Indiia became religious, karm-bhrashth (sinful) and insolvent."

During a discussion with a saint in India/Bharat, when we said- the real sermonizer of Gita is incorporeal Shiv, not bodily person Krishna, the saint replied - " Why should we bother regarding who is sermonizer of Geeta. Just do/follow what is said in Gita. Let it be words of anyone."

But, in Gita, it is said everywhere- " Remember ME, surrender to ME. Think only ME. What all karma you do, surrender their fruit to ME."

So, OBVIOUSLY, the first responsibility becomes to know whose words the Gita is!

39) Now, now let us think how come due to the insertion of name Krishna in Geeta Bharat became religious and insolvent.

In Gita, it is shown Krishna had 16108 wives. Due to this, the gender inequality or unbalance arose. Male became hero, and the esteem of females fell into the ground.
[Actually the incorporeal supreme Godfather is the father of all souls and we all (the ,7 billion) are HIS spiritual children or brides. But, all the human souls do not practically love God fully. 16108 souls love God to a very high level as if a bride loves her groom. ]
But, When Sri Krishna is thought to be God of Gita, connection with the real/incorporeal father got lost to more extent.
And- the place of spiritual bride got replaced by physically females. Due to this, females became second class or sometimes even worse. The effect can be seen clearly. So, the esteem of females came down and gender unbalance increased further.

A woman/wife is forced to wear/put a dot on forehead, but male/husband need not.
In the scriptures, most of the laws are forced on women than men.
Widow lost all the positions.

A kind suggestion to those who are interested in Gita - Gita is a very short book which is divided into 18 chapters with a total of 700 versus, each verse being only around 20 words. It costs only around Rupees 10/- ( 0.15 USD). One may begin from chapter three ( no need to read chapter one, or you can read later, readers who have no knowledge of the epic Mahabharat, would feel difficult to understand) Every chapter is almost independent, so one can go however he likes). It is also available in the internet. At least read chapter 4, 12, 15, 18. Chapter 12 and 15 are the smallest chapters having 20 versus each. They are full of YAAD, love to the most beloved Almighty.

Most of the versus, are also almost independent. So, readers can go through it easily.
